Welcome to the Owensboro Isotopes R/C Club!
The Isotopes were founded in the early 1970s to promote model aviation in Owensboro, Kentucky, and the surrounding areas. We invite you to visit our flying site at 8284 Short Station Rd., Philpot, KY.
We are a chartered club of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). Our official club number is 1734.
FIELD LOCATION & HOURS
Lampkin Flying Field is available year-round for club members and a limited number of guest flyers. The field may be unavailable during scheduled club events, tractor pull events, or occasional private use.
All pilots must hold a current Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) membership to fly at this chartered club field.
